c1890.

This very elegant bed is in the Louis XV style having wonderful Rococo designs.

Made of walnut, having a lovely curvaceous serpentine shaped head and footboard, with very finely carved shell, fruit and scroll motifs.

With an exceptional exquisitely carved shell cresting to the headboard.

Lovely shaped and carved side-rails, echoing the design of the footboard.

Standing on very elegant acanthus and scroll carved feet.

The walnut has developed a warm rich colour, and excellent patina.

With the original bed base.

Fits a UK standard double 4ft 6" mattress.

Very easy to assemble.

Completely dismantles into a headboard a footboar and two side-rails.

The condition is excellent antique condition, with very minor signs of age and use.

The dimensions are.

Height-Headboard-154cm. Height-Footboard-89cm.

Width of Headboard-148.5cm.

Overall Length-202cm. Fits a UK standard double 4ft 6 inch mattress.
