A handsome Georgian mahogany chest of drawers.

c1790.

The reeded moulded edge is over an arrangement of cock-beaded drawers, having two short drawers to the top over three long graduating drawers, with mahogany lining and fine dove-tail construction.

Each drawer is strong and sturdy and open smoothly and easily.

The mahogany has rich flame figuring and a lovely warm patination.

Having replacement Georgian oval brass handles.

Standing on shaped bracket feet.

In excellent antique condition, general expected, minor signs of age and use.

Very solid sturdy and strong.
