A fine William IV rosewood writing or library table.
c1830.

Stunning rich figuring to the rounded corner top, over a scroll carved frieze, incorporating two drawers, the drawers offer vast storage as they run the entire depth of the table.

To the opposing side are two dummy drawers, making it possible to use the table in the centre of a room as both sides are finished.

Supported by lotus wrapped, turned, upward tapering legs, a platform base with scroll feet and the original brass castors.

In excellent antique condition.

Wonderful rich figuring and colour throughout.

Strong, solid and sturdy.

Height-72cm to the top of the desk. Height to the underside of the drawers-58.8cm.
Width-143cm.
Depth-76cm.
