A simply delightful and very sweet, rare, child`s Edwardian, Georgian revival mahogany bureau.

c1900.

Having a pretty marquetry conch shell inlay to the fall-front, which is a typical late 18th century design and very elegant.

This opens to reveal a quality fitted interior, having pigeon hole compartments and small central drawer with original brass bun handle and mahogany writing surface.

Over three mahogany lined graduating drawers, with boxwood stringing inlay to each drawer and very pretty brass handles.

Locks and escutcheons to each drawer, sadly no key.

Pretty shaped apron to the front and sides, standing on cabriole supports.

Good patination and colour.

In excellent antique condition.

Solid, sturdy and strong.

Depth-31.5cm.
