A handsome Georgian mahogany chest of drawers.

c1790.

To the top of this very smart chest is a reeded edge which is over an arrangement of cock-beaded drawers, having two short drawers to the top, over four long graduating drawers, all with pine linings and of fine dove-tail construction.

Each drawer is strong and sturdy and open smoothly and easily.

With attractive brass oval-handles.

The mahogany has a good rich colour and attractive figuring with a lovely warm patina.

In original condition.

Standing on ogee bracket feet.

In excellent antique condition, general expected minor signs of age and use.

Very solid sturdy and strong.

Height-116.7cm.

Width-115.5cm. Taken at the widest part of the feet.

Depth-55cm. Taken at the top.
