Brynmawr Furniture Company oak Arts & Crafts bookcase
this is a solid oak bookcase made from the famous Brynmawr Furniture Company in wales. all of the pieces that came out of this company are based in the Arts & Crafts traditions coming from Ernest Gimson's influence and the Cotswold school. a great thing with its label to the back. the top and bottom shelf are jointed and pegged. it is raised on a typical Cotswold school foot with stop chamfers very crisp and precise. a really good thing with the factory speaking for itself and its history.
