Description

This is a solid Oak Arts and Crafts bureau c1870-90. Raised on slab bracket feet it has two shelves and is a delicate waterfall example with the slab ends stepping back as it rises to the top of the bureau. The main bureau flap has its original metal false hinges with original handle. The key is not original but is an old key. The insides are fitted with differing sizes of pigeon holes. The upper section has a shaped gallery back and is in a lovely colour.
