GEORGIAN JOINTED CHAIRS

This is a set of four Antique Georgian Oak and Elm vernacular jointed chairs c1760-1800. They are raised on square tapered front legs with square shaped and swept rear legs. They have a classic Georgian stretcher configuration and all have solid wooden seats. The back uprights are shaped and tapered with rounded tops to the back uprights. The back cross supports have triple reeded decoration with the four upright supports also having triple reeded mouldings.
