Description

This is a great example of late 18th Century Oak wall hanging corner cabinet c1770-1800. The lower trim is an ogee moulding with the upper cornice being a large Ogee moulding. The door is hinged to the right hand side with a fielded panel cross banded with mahogany and line inlay of boxwood and ebony with a shell inlay motif to the centre. The inside has three shelves all made of elm with the central one having three drawers also made from elm. It has its original key, like when does that happen! The back panels are also awesome being one plank each side of pine and the saw pit marks being clearly visible showing its age and the fact it has been well looked after this past 200 plus years.

it is

41 1/2inches high

30 3/4 inches wide across the front

17 3/4 inches deep
