Description

This is a Georgian Oak Country table c1780-1820. It has a typical drop leaf design with large leaves that could seat alot of people and put away next to a wall or in a corner.  When this piece was made Oak was plentiful and not a high class wood like mahogany with houses small not too mention large families.  It has straight classic George III legs with a large mellow oak colour to the leaves.
