Mews Antiques

Description

This is a Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier c1880-1900.  It is raised on a plinth base with a pair of doors to the lower half.  The right hand door has a key and the left has thumbnail catches to secure it.  The key is not original.  The top and drawer are a serpentine shape with scoop handle under the drawer to open it.  The upper shelf is also serpentine with sugar twish supports.  The cresting is heavily carved and ornate.  A lovely drinks cabinet.
