Description

This is an Arts & Crafts Ash Sideboard c1880-1900. It is raised on slab ends with shaped frieze to the front. The top is exaggerated following the Scottish influence at this point with shaped supports. There are a pair of doors with a fixed shelf. The drawers have a chamfered edge and the top steps back so it can reach the wall where it is placed over the skirting board. I haven't seen an Ash example before.
