Beautifully elegant piece of old Sheffield plate made circa 1860. This stylish oval bread basket with gadrooned embossed decoration, made by world renown makers 'James Dixon and Sons' of Sheffield , with stamped marks and design numbers to the underside.A lovely piece of antique silver plate with style, quality and craftsmanship in abundance, only found from a maker of such high repute.
