I have for sale 2 vintage office filing cabinets, made in pale oak veneered panels by Kinnarps the Swedish furniture design company. They are retro modern in design and date to 1986, (stamped on the inside lining of one of the doors).

They are very well made and in excellent condition.

Each compartment is closed by beautifully made canvas lined sliding tambour doors , and both cabinets are identical with the exception that one has metal tubular feet and the other oak feet.

The modular construction means that they are very versatile in form, and the arrangement and size can be adapted by adding or removing compartments. These are each secured by 2 bolts on the inside which lock with the turn of a slotted screwdriver.

The backs are of cream plastic laminated board so they can be freestanding in a room or used side by side or back to back as room dividers

The compartments are all the same size, deep and tall enough inside to take lever arch files and also printers and other office equipment. Foolscap A4 boxfiles would have to be laid down or stacked on top.
There are also a series of shelf support holes to the sides of each section so that shelving could be fitted if required for stationery or shallow sections for filing. (not supplied)
