Description

A superb original oil on board by the popular arytist Noel Ripley. The painting is presented in a nice quality wood frame and displays a still life scene with jug and fruit. The artist captures much realism, especially in the fruit which is fantastic.

Noel Ripley was born in 1944, near High Wycombe. His family moved to East Anglia during the 1950s and Noel Ripley worked initially as a design engineer.

Noel Ripley has painted professionally since 1982, in a traditional manner which captures the charm of the 19th century landscapes and still life subjects

Noel Ripley has always had a great love of painting and in the late 70s he studied fine art restoration with a particular interest in the Dutch and British schools of 19th century painting.
