Description

A fine quality English George IV period library table. The freestanding table in rosewood, rounded corners with two mahogany lined drawers, all best quality timber, lovely turned column legs, with fine carved detail, joined by a hidden original supporting stretcher. The table is in good condition and a lovely colour.

The table has labels underneath for William Roddam, it is likely to have been made for Roddam Hall near Wooler Northumberland, only a few miles from the shop. Dated 1820's.
