a classical Victorian bedroom furniture comprising of Duchess washstand and dressing table.

Circa 1870.

The mahogany serpentine fronted `Duchess` wash stand, with a beautifully polished white marble top and splash back, above a frieze with a single drawer, supported on the front by bold carved cabriole legs below which a lower level is raised on bun feet.

The matching dressing table has on the upper level 2 banks of 3 drawers supporting the carved mirror brackets, between which is a piano lidded box, the lower level is identical to the wash stand.

50”long x 32”high + mirror x 24”deep

The condition of both of these items is commensurate with their age.
