A very unusual cruet set. Made from bog oak and indian silver. Bought from a private house in scotland, the family believed that the son was in india and got these made and brought them home. They are made from silver, indian silver rupees and bog oak. I believe the person who got these made were irish, the design is made so the coins look like the irish shamrock. A very unusual set of items, have never seen anything like these before! It is fantastic quality, and in great condition with expected wear and tear. You certainly wont see another cruet set like this. It has two pepper pots, two mustard pots and two salt pots. The pepper pots roughly measure 2. 5" high by 1. 75". The mustard pots roughly measure 1. 25" high by 1. 75". Finally the salt pots measure roughly 1. 5" high by 2. 25". Very unusual set of items with an interesting history. I am selling them the way I have bought them, untouched. They look as if they have been treasured through the family though, as they are in great condition
