Splendid Italian painting from the second half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a wonderful architectural capriccio, a landscape with fantasy classical ruins, where we find rest during the flight into Egypt. In fact, we see the Holy Family at the center of the composition and an angel next to a donkey in the background. A painting of excellent pictorial quality that clearly falls within the genre of fantastic vedutism, a genre particularly in vogue in Rome between the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a small 20th century wand in gilded wood, beautifully decorated, with some signs of aging. Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and repainting in small spots. Overall in good condition. Interior size H 118 x W 88 cm.
