Description

A very fine pair of English mahogany glazed library dwarf bookcases of the best quality. Fabulous carved columns and carved turned dwarf feet. Carved mahogany three quarter gallery to the top of each bookcase. Each bookcase has two drawers to the top. Probably made by Waring before they became Waring and Gillows. Very deep to take books up to 12 5/8" deep. Two fully adjustable shelves to each bookcase. One strip of thin moulding missing to side of one bookcase (see photo 4). Does not detract from the quality and beauty of these bookcases. Keys present for each bookcase. Colour and patina is outstanding.
45" wide x 16" deep. Bookcase depth inside is 12 5/8".
