Description

A fabulous carved oak panel of Jesus Christ dating from the late 16th early 17th century. (not from a piece of furniture). Appears to be signed which I have not been able to identify. (see pic.). Wonderful carving and original colour. Large size at 17 1/2" wide x 18 1/2" tall x 4" thick. Carved from one piece of timber. Can be displayed freestanding or hung. Probably English or French. In very good condition.
