Description

A stunning Murphy 146 Radio designed by celebrated furniture maker Gordon Russell.
The Floor standing Murphy 146 is a striking example of British modernist industrial design from 1935.
The shape was designed to project the sound from the centrally speaker and had the added advantage that it could sit in the corner of a room taking up less space than a traditional Radio.
whilst the walnut finish meant it could sit harmoniously within a domestic interior. Excellent condition with original knobs and dial plate. Electrics are working but untested and in need of an Ariel The cabinet has been cleaned and polished.
