We have for sale a rather stunning heavy late Victorian copper and brass Jugendstil inspired art nouveau kettle, stand and burner dating to somewhere around 1880 to 1890.

This lovely kettle is of a very attractive art nouveau planished form incorporating an attractive repousse art nouveau designs extending up to a brass rim into which the copper lid snugly fits. The lid is terminated by a an attractive ebony and brass finial. The body of the kettle extends to a high looped brass handle and to a brass fitting on either side of the kettle that then fit onto a three legged ornate looped stand which in turn holds a good solid brass burner.

The kettle, stand and burner together are 11 inches (28cm) high and the kettle is 5.75 inches (14.6cm) in diameter. All components of the this kettle, stand and burner are in an excellent antique condition. By the look of it this piece of attractive art nouveau metalware has seen very little us and seems to have been mostly used for ornamental purposes.
