Amazing French Walnut and Kingwood Commode.
This Commode is of typical French form with swept legs.
The 2 Oak Lined Drawers and shaped Sides of the Commode having Rosewood, Kingwood and Walnut Veneers. (note Kingwood was always considered a very expensive timber and was used very sparingly on only the very top quality furniture)
The Whole of this piece having superb Gilt Mounts, escutcheons and rococo style handles and finished with a very pretty mottled pink marble top.
