William IV Mahogany Extending Dining Table.
The dining table is made of Mahogany, which is a durable and richly colored hardwood. It belongs to the William IV style, which was popular during the early to mid-19th century in Britain.

The table stands upon typical William IV turned and fluted legs.
This combination of turned and fluted elements adds visual interest and elegance to the table. The legs also have original brass and porcelain castors, which are wheels attached to the legs for ease of movement.

The table can extend to accommodate 1 extra leaf by way of a telescopic pullout mechanism.
The top of the table having matched timbers, indicating that it is constructed from carefully selected pieces of wood with similar grain patterns to create a cohesive and visually appealing surface. The top also features a thumb mold, which is a decorative molding or edge detail that provides a tactile element and adds refinement to the table's design.
