Good quality late Victorian walnut pedestal desk of nine drawers with original brass handles, the top having an inset red leather scriber and a superstructure of two drawers and pigeonholes with a spindle turned gallery.DateLate Victorian :

ConditionThis item is in original structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, in the traditional manner. There are some old marks underneath the polish, but all very minor and certainly nothing unsightly. The leather scriber has been replaced at some point prior to our ownership.
