An attractive and commodious Edwardian oak open bookcase, ideal for use in an alcove, having reeded pilasters flanking an arrangement of four adjustable deal shelves, and raised on a plinth base.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some minor marks underneath the polish. The shelf supports, although moveable to allow for shelf height adjustment, are currently pinned in to place, presumably for extra stability. It would be an easy matter, however, to prise them loose and adjust the shelf heights as originally intended.
