A handsome and impressive late George III oak dresser, having a plate rack with over-hung cornice, arrangement of shelves, and two mahogany banded cupboard doors with shell inlaid paterae, raised on a base with three mahogany banded drawers with pierced backplate handles, turned front legs with pad feet, and stile rear legs.

Condition & Details of Restoration
This item is in generally excellent original structural condition. As is generally the case with vernacular furniture of this type, it bears the marks of use over the years and minor repairs here and there. The handles, while of the period, are not original. The polish has been revived by our own polishers, by hand in the traditional manner.
