An attractive and fine quality early 19th Century mahogany Butlers’ tray of good colour and patina, of oval form when open, having folding sides with shaped handle holes and separate folding stand.

Condition & Details of Restoration
This item is in excellent structural condition this model of tray can suffer with splits to the panels, but there are none in this case. The polish has been revived by our own polishers, by hand in the traditional manner. The webbing to the top of the stand has been replaced. The hinges have also been replaced at some point prior to our ownership with slightly smaller hinges than the originals.
