A most unusual and superior quality small occasional table, the walnut ‘book page’ veneered top being of rectangular section with bowed ends and rosette carved edges, raised on handsome silvered supports of carved mythical birds, and a carved walnut platform base.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This table is in original condition, and is structurally completely sound. The polish has been revived by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. The silvering to the supports was ‘distressed’ when made, i.e. marks and fading were deliberately added to give the appearance of the 18th century furniture it aspires to emulate.
