Silver and Tortoiseshell Cufflink BoxCode 579
13 wide, 9 deep, 6 high cm
Superb little box in great condition given its age, hallmarked for Chester 1916 which makes it a bit more desirable.
Tortoiseshell lid which has a geometric inlayed silver banding and the rim of the base has a lovely egg and dart design to it and sat on bum feet. Two lug handles with a dark blue interior which I suspect is a later addition but nevertheless does not detract from the piece. A few age related marks but nothing noticeable and a great gift or gift idea.
I’ve got it down as a cufflink box but any form of jewellery could be put in this piece or maybe a great item to sit on a smart desk.
