Late 19th century letter/paper clip. It is small and of excellent quality. The backplate is decoratively pressed metal. The front plate is brass with a silver coloured finish, decorated with scrolls and a central motif combining the letter A and 1. The spring mechanism is in perfect working order.Length 8.4cm (3 1/4")
