Antique top quality Victorian 19th Century black Tolware coal scuttle or purdonium, by Loveridge of Wolverhampton (associated with Shoolbred).

This is a lovely rare quality piece, that is full of age charm and character. Complete with a later shovel and steel liner (missing its loops and with a secondary liner for integrity).

Beautiful patina, age and colour... a nice find.
