Description

A fine and interesting chess board disguised when folded away as two volumes of 'The history of America'. The chess board is made of beautifully tooled leather on a wood base. The interior is also decorated as a backgammon board and retains the original boxwood and ebony chequers 15 of each. The whole is in good used condition, there is wear around the edges but nothing too great and it has a good colour and patina. C.1900.

We are happy to organise deliveries to all destinations. Delivery of some items will be free depending on size, delivery method, and location. Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf. Deliveries can be organised all over the world so please do ask wherever you are. If an item interests you get in touch and we can always talk about various ways and costs that might be involved in getting it to you.
