Description

A really fabulous example of these highly sought-after and hard to find Binoculars / Opera Glasses with three lenses changed by the wheel at the side and indicated across the bridge labelled " Theatre ", " Field " and " Marine ".

There is a bee engraved on the wheel on the side (the signature for LeMaire) together with a patent number. They are also lucky enough to have the engraved signature of the London retailer, Watson and Sons of High Holborn.

They are beautifully clad in leather and have been painstakingly professionally polished to create a great looking instrument, all in excellent working condition. 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" deep x 5" extending to 6 1/4".
