A most unusual figural pen nib wipe made from brass with a wonderful untouched antique patina.In the from of a Knight in armour, the back of the helmet retains the original felts used to remove excess ink from a dip pen's nib.
Highly collectable and in excellent condition dating to c.1880, Victorian in era. 2 1/2" x 2" x 2 1/2" tall.
