Description

An outstanding large covered bowl or dish made from heavy hand-cut crystal, a true grand centrepiece.

The Dutch silver mount is marked with the single sword mark used between 1814 to 1905 this piece dating to c.1880. The fabulous cast silver Lion's head handles can be removed, they slide to one side releasing what is essentially a hook the silver mark is under one of the Lion's head handles.

Superb condition, very minor wear commensurate with age and an impressive size with a diameter measuring 8 1/2" x 8" and standing 11 1/2" tall.
