Description

Larger than most examples of these highly sought-after triple lens binoculars, these brass binoculars are clad with a dark leather.

These hard-to-find glasses with three lenses changed by the wheel at the side and indicated across the bridge labelled " Theatre ", " Field " and " Marine ".

There is a bee engraved on the wheel on the side (the signature for LeMaire) together with a patent number. There are also brass sun shades which pull out to reduce glare in bright light and sunshine.

They are beautifully clad in leather and have been painstakingly professionally polished to create a great looking instrument, all in excellent working condition measuring 5" wide x 2 1/2" deep x 6" extending to 8 1/4" while sun shades are in operation.

It has been several years since I have been lucky enough to fine a pair of these!
