Description

A wonderful pair of fully refurbished French made binoculars, stamped M G (Ministere de la Guerre) created for the British Military for use during World War 1 in 1917.

The brass has been meticulously professionally polished, a winning combination with the cognac leather. The brass is engraved with the military crows foot mark together with Mk 5 Special and 20035.

They come with a leather case made by W Swart stamped on the integral handle on the top of the case (wear commensurate with age and use for over 100 years).

They are in fully working order and in superb condition (one hairline to the carved horn focusing wheel, shown and mentioned purely for accuracy).

The case measures 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 6 1/2".
