A truly outstanding and rare find, this is an outstanding Victorian figural inkwell made from a winning combination of brass and silver plate and retaining his wonderful two original glass eyes without damage.The size is impressive, this is one to make a splash on the finest of desk-tops, measuring 8 1/2" in diameter x 5 1/2" tall.
The hinged lid lifts to reveal the removable ink chamber within.
Top notch in every way! Excellent condition dating to around 1880.
