Description

A rare and magnificent English desk set made from gilded bronze in superb condition. The set consists of a pair of candlesticks, a pen tray, an inkwell, a seal and a letter opener.

All pieces feature cast cats or kittens playing with rugs and carpets. Dating to the late Victorian era, c.1890.

Each candlestick has a base diameter measuring 4 7/8" x 7" tall the pen tray measures 9" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" the letter opener measures 7 1/2" x 1" x 3/4" the inkwell measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" the seal measures 3 3/4" x 3/4" x 1".
