Description

A 17th century hand carved wooden panel with a rondel in the middle painted with heraldic crest. This piece still has remnants of the original paint. Centre panel depicts a hand painted ram on its back legs rearing in the air. This is very similar to the Reichert family.

There is one repair. It can be found at the top. In the photo of the back of the piece, you can see the seam where the two pieces separated. It is an excellent repair and cannot be detected from the front.

There are also a few bits of the carving that have come off over the last 400 years. I have taken a photo of each piece so a comprehensive view is provided. Otherwise, it is in remarkably good condition.
