A superb Walnut and cane work armchair designed by Edward William Godwin and made by William Watt. The face wood is in good original condition and has just been lightly waxed retaining its original colour and patination. The frame is solid with no loose joints or wobbles and is worm free. The cane work although not original is in super condition and is a nice small tight weave adding to the chairs elegance.
