Description

This is a beautiful Japanese Kutani Koro which dates from the 19th century. The lidded bowl is sat upon three feet and its lid has a kimono dressed youth playing an instrument. The koro, circa 1890 and has wonderful hand painted decoration and gilding with garden scenes etc. in typical ironstone colours. The painting is very finely executed with a good deal of detail.
This piece is substantial in size measuring 32 cms in height and 23 cms wide and is in perfect condition and signed to the base by the artist.
