Description

This is a rare and very handsome pair of heavy cast iron lions dating from the early 20th century. The pair, in sejant pose, are seated holding hand painted shields cast with rampant lions and crowns above. These are great size, ideal for gateposts or a driveway location, or would stand impressively either side of a grand doorway.
The lions stand 80 cms tall, 30 cms wide and 25 cms deep.
