Rams Head Antiques

Description

This is a good mid Victorian garden statue carved from solid stone depicting a recumbent lion in the medieval style pounced forwards with its prey, a captured ram beneath its paws. The stone ornament dates from around 1850 and has a really great antique look to the piece. The lion itself is in excellent order, with a couple of small depletion’s to the corners of the base at the back.
The piece measures 62 cms long 32 cms deep and 40 cms high.
