Description

This is a very decorative, ornately carved Indian hexagonal table dating from around 1880 with a stunning polychrome copper central panel. The finely carved table has pierced woven foliage throughout, interspersed with peacocks and rams head designs. The hand tooled inset copper panel further reflects this with outstanding detail of many peacocks in scrolling leaves and foliage, hand painted in wonderful antique colours. The table is a quite substantial, imposing piece measuring 92 cms across and 60 cms in height.
