Description

This is a good 19th century tinsel picture of Mr Foster as Count Palatine with the date of publication July 1st 1831. The characterful and colourful print is embellished with “tinsel” detail to the boots sash and cuffs. These antique tinsel pictures were very popular in the early 19th century but are becoming increasingly difficult to find now. This is a really good example with a great subject and in its original burr walnut frame which is also in super order.
