Description

This is a fine 19th century Chinese long bench in solid Elm dating from around 1890. The bench has a wonderful warm colour to the rich red lacquer with superb gilded dragon roundels to the back and an absolutely beautiful glowing patina throughout. The bench is traditionally constructed and is in excellent, condition with good sound joints and no movement to the frame.

A really fine and handsome piece that would add great character to any setting.

The bench is a good size measuring 172 cms in length 93 cms high and 48 cms deep.
