Description

This is a beautiful Victorian brass and walnut bed in super order dating from around 1880. The brass work is all complete and in good condition and the decorative timber frame has a lovely colour and patina. These timber and brass beds are really quite rare these days and this is an excellent example with a great look. The bed has its original side irons so is structurally sound when assembled and it comes with a sprung timber base so simply requires a standard double mattress. This is raised on its original wooden castors and measures 145 cms high at the head 125 cms high at the base and is 205 cms long by 140 cms wide overall.
